The history of IXIA

IXIA is a sustainable fashion project in harmony with people and the planet that gives a new life to textile samples transforming them into unique and special pieces.

It was born from intuition and illusion. From uniting past and present after a time of change, of a lot of listening, of living on the island of Malta and sharing creativity with people from all over the world. It is like the fruit of a cycle that ends and opens a new portal of possibilities.

From my workshop in Barcelona, I design and make each piece by hand, giving shape to small universes that emerge in the creative process. In each piece there is an energy, an emotion, a reflection of this moment.

IXIA Philosophy

  • SUSTAINABILITY

    We work with circular production systems following the zero waste movement.

    We give a new life to fabrics that have been left out of the production cycle, preventing them from becoming waste.

    In this way, we minimize the generation of new waste and the consumption of resources such as the large volume of water used in the production of new fabrics.

  • EXCLUSIVITY

    IXIA's creations are unique pieces.

    Some models are totally exclusive (only you will have this piece!) and others are very limited capsules with few units of each.

    Something that, personally, I feel very special.

  • LOCAL AND ARTISANAL PRODUCTION

    All the pieces are designed and produced in Barcelona, in an artisanal way, with delicacy and taking care of every part of the process.

    We work with local suppliers and throughout the whole process, we have a conscious look, from the design of each piece until it reaches your hands.
